При проведении уроков английского языка в компьютерном классе, я либо испльзую уже существующие Интернет ресурсы, либо создаю свои собственные. Последнее мне кажется более удобным, так как позволяет учителю использовать изученный лексический и грамматический материал. Кроме того, возможна адаптация задания к данному учебному курсу, теме урока и языковому уровню учащихся.

Предлагаю вашему вниманию некоторые из разработанных мною материалов. В каждом занятии я стараюсь интегрировать различные языковые умения учащихся.

FLORIDA

II.      Read the text about Florida and check your predictions.

Welcome to Florida, the “Sunshine State”. The capital if the state is Tallahassee. Miami is a big tourist city. Visitors love its sandy beaches. There are many coconut palm trees along the streets and beaches in Miami. Though they are pretty, they are also dangerous. Coconut watchers’ job is to make sure coconuts do not fall on the tourists’ heads.

Florida is famous for its theme parks the largest of which is Walt Disney World, near Orlando. A train takes people around Disney World. In one part of it, called EPCOT Center, you can see life, food and transportation of the future.

The Kennedy Space Center is another tourist attraction. This is where flights go up into space with astronauts in them. You can see how they are taught. If you go southwards, you can wildlife in the Everglades, an area of some land and a lot of water. Alligators are one of the wildlife species living in this swamp.

Millions of visitors coming to Florida every year like its sandy beaches, theme parks, and natural beauty. By many people choose Florida as their permanent place of residence. Older people from cold states come to relax in Florida sunshine. Young people come to look for new jobs. Evidently, Florida has something for everyone.

IV.     Write a letter to your pen-pal. Tell her/ him about your trip to Florida. Write what you liked/ disliked and why. Use the notes from your table. Write 100-140 words. (20 minutes)
